After many attempts over the years to catch a good sunrise on Dolly Sods, I was treated to this brilliant display of nature on a mid October morning. A cold front was rapidly moving in, providing the high clouds that lit up in a brilliant orange and red glow as the sun began to break over the distant horizon.
